When providing you with security engineering or planning, Mr. Winn carefully studies and analyzes your current and future security needs…Each component is assessed within your existing internal and external threat/risk environment during periods of full operations, partial and off-production hours. He will then create a system that not only works for you today, but can grow as your business grows or your needs change. Once a facility has determined through a risk assessment plus a security survey that additional or revised physical security measures are needed, planning is required to integrate those measures or equipment into a cost-effective facility or corporate Security Plan. The measures could include physical barriers such as fences, CCTV, alarms, electronic access control systems, or whatever measures are needed to complete the Plan. Additionally, the specific equipment or systems need to be specified; qualified vendors identified; Requests for Proposal or Invitations To Bid prepared; and construction or installation by the selected contractors overseen. Mr. Winn stands ready to assist its clients in implementing any or all of the recommendations it makes for physical security changes or enhancements. Mr. Winn has a positive record of bringing  projects in on time and at or under budget.

This looks so complicated! Here is what i did.
I visited Gotchacam.biz and selected the camera that I wanted. I picked the Gotcha! Pan-Tilt wireless with built-in video recorder. The Gotcha! cams are so easy to set up and use, you don’t even have to read the instructions. Here goes, open the box, takle out the camera and plug it in to a wall socket. That doesn’t require any manual reading. Take the supplied cable and plug that into my router. No software or computer is required. No “www this” or “www that”…ZERO double talk—tech talk. Watch the camera and within about 5 seconds you will see a red light blink and a blue light. Thats all! The Gotcha! camera is already online! I still haven’t finished unpacking the box!

Inside is a small mounting bracket and USB memory stick that has additional software goodies, a large nice quality microfiber camera cleaning cloth to keep the camera looking shiny and clean. A quick install guide that I didn’t have to read …nice photo instructions 1 2 3 set up for those who like to follow instructions.

Now for the fun. I always have my iPhone 3GS in my purse, so I touched the Red Gotcha! icon and it asked me to enter the camera id and password which were located on a small credit card sized “cheat sheet”. I can change the password to anything I want. I dialed in the two numbers..and within seconds, I can see and hear what the Gotcha! camera sees and hears.

Now remember that my camera is still connected to the router with a cable? Since both blue and red lights are on…I disconnected the cable…and guess what. The camera is automatically connedted to the internet. I unplugged the camera from the wall and took it to my living room to watch my cat. I plugged the small power adapter into the wall…and both lights immediately turned on …letting me know I was back online. The camera remembered the settings!

Oh boy oh boy! I watched my cat “Henry” watching me. As the cat walked around the room I could follow the cart with the Pan function.

To record, I just hit the record button on the iPhone which started the recording to my iPhone as well as to the camera 16 Gb MicroSD memory chip. I turned on the microphone from my iPhone and could listen in.

After one day of trying different setups and uses, I ordered two more Gotcha! cameras. The nice thing Iike about them, is that they are small enought to fit in a handbag, and the basic model as well as its tiny power plug fits in the three pockets of the camera cloth. Camera, power adapter, and security card fold up into a small package. I can take the camera anywhere, plug it in and go online. You can use two of them and make your own private SKYPE type camera phones but without needing a computer. They also have day/night versions as well as outdoor cameras.

Certainly proper planning is vital to the success of any venture. Part of a solid Risk Management assessment would include proper safety precautions in the event of fire in the work place.
