Hi Ralph,
I was promised Vista 20P and delivered Vista 48D by my vendor. Could you please suggest any differences between the two? Which one is better? I have need only to secure my home.

Ralph, I had a Vista 20P installed and operating approx 2 years. About 6 months ago I had false alarms on motion detectors. They occur within afew hours after setting. All motions are set up on one system so I can’t get more specific than that. I’ve been unable to determine why the motions are the problem when there is no motion in the detection areas. Any help diagnosing will be much appreciated.

Thanks Ralph for the review on the Vista 20p. I am getting ready to take the plunge and install one of these. I was on the fence and considering having a local company come in and do the install… but for the same money i can have a MUCH more robust and feature rich system that i KNOW will be done right. I plan to solder the tips of all my wires, dress the wiring with proper cable mgmt technique. In the end, by doing it myself, I hope to learn a lot and be better off with that knowledge of the system.
