I am not disputing the experience of the person (Ralph Winn) giving the advice but a society that does not encourage it citizens to defend themselves is in my opinion doomed. If faced with the choice and opportunity, my family and I will fight back. We will defend ourselves. My wife will get the revolver I trained her to use. I will grab my 45. No mention of grabbing your legally obtained weapon. At some point we have to let criminals know that Americans will fight back and when we do, the price will become to steep for them. The safe room is a great idea. In my safe room is a weapon. The safety and security of my family is in my handss. I will not be at he mercy of a drugged out criminal. Might not be right for everyone but it is at mininum something to consider. Has it really come to this?
