<description>This looks so complicated! Here is what i did.
I visited Gotchacam.biz and selected the camera that I wanted. I picked the Gotcha! Pan-Tilt wireless with built-in video recorder. The Gotcha! cams are so easy to set up and use, you don&#039;t even have to read the instructions. Here goes, open the box, takle out the camera and plug it in to a wall socket. That doesn&#039;t require any manual reading. Take the supplied cable and plug that into my router. No software or computer is required. No &quot;www this&quot; or &quot;www that&quot;...ZERO double talk---tech talk. Watch the camera and within about 5 seconds you will see a red light blink and a blue light. Thats all! The Gotcha! camera is already online! I still haven&#039;t finished unpacking the box!

Inside is a small mounting bracket and USB memory stick that has additional software goodies, a large nice quality microfiber camera cleaning cloth to keep the camera looking shiny and clean. A quick install guide that I didn&#039;t have to read ...nice photo instructions 1 2 3 set up for those who like to follow instructions.

Now for the fun. I always have my iPhone 3GS in my purse, so I touched the Red Gotcha! icon and it asked me to enter the camera id and password which were located on a small credit card sized &quot;cheat sheet&quot;. I can change the password to anything I want. I dialed in the two numbers..and within seconds, I can see and hear what the Gotcha! camera sees and hears.

Now remember that my camera is still connected to the router with a cable? Since both blue and red lights are on...I disconnected the cable...and guess what. The camera is automatically connedted to the internet. I unplugged the camera from the wall and took it to my living room to watch my cat. I plugged the small power adapter into the wall...and both lights immediately turned on ...letting me know I was back online. The camera remembered the settings!

Oh boy oh boy! I watched my cat &quot;Henry&quot; watching me. As the cat walked around the room I could follow the cart with the Pan function.

To record, I just hit the record button on the iPhone which started the recording to my iPhone as well as to the camera 16 Gb MicroSD memory chip. I turned on the microphone from my iPhone and could listen in.

After one day of trying different setups and uses, I ordered two more Gotcha! cameras. The nice thing Iike about them, is that they are small enought to fit in a handbag, and the basic model as well as its tiny power plug fits in the three pockets of the camera cloth. Camera, power adapter, and security card fold up into a small package. I can take the camera anywhere, plug it in and go online. You can use two of them and make your own private SKYPE type camera phones but without needing a computer. They also have day/night versions as well as outdoor cameras.
