Freeze Alert

Would a Freeze Alert in your greenhouse be helpful? Most greenhouse gardeners are passionate about their gardens. You can spend hours nurturing your plants – adding the right balance of fertiliser and water, checking soil makeup.

You need to make sure that you have the right amount of light and ventilation in your greenhouse for optimum growing conditions. Another key ingredient for successful greenhouse gardening is temperature – if the temperature falls too low or rises too high, you could lose your crop and all your hard work has been for nothing. If you get it right though, you will be rewarded with fruits and vegetables all your round or prize winning flowers – whatever your passion.

Some of these elements of your greenhouse can be controlled easier than others. You can have automatic sprinklers, providing different amounts of water to different plants and timed to provide just the right amount of water at just the right time. The temperature is a little harder to control because you can’t be there constantly monitoring the temperature – or can you?

If you had a system that would monitor your greenhouse and call you on the phone when the temperature was getting to a dangerous level for your plants, would that solve a problem for you?  A Freeze Alert will do just that – monitor the temperature in your greenhouse and phone you with an alert at a temperature set by you.
