American paratroopers to secure people of Haiti

The earthquake damaged entire Haiti and the people there are crying for help. The efforts of American paratroopers are really appreciable at such times. They supplied adequate quantity of food and water supply to the people. The American President said that they are doing this only for humanity. They US forces have landed their helicopters in the capital of Haiti and secured the President palace first. The UN forces assured that the people are here only for help not to take control, so stay calm and try to cooperate. The paratroopers saved the people who were buried under the buildings. This is a brave step taken by the American paratroopers. Now there are more than 9000 military personnel and over 2000 police officials available in Haiti for the security of people.

The paratroopers secured the supply lines within the whole area and it was really a great achievement for the US forces and people of Haiti as well. Another major threat to the people is that there were around 5000 prisoners who escaped on the day of earthquake. This is the major threat to the Haiti authorities and US forces. Out of 5000, there were 3000 inmates who were involved in the cases of murder, gang rape and kidnapping.

The effort of UN forces is really appreciable that they succeeded in taking control over the situation very swiftly. The street fights are the common in Haiti, but the forces have stopped all such fights and also managed to reduce these types of similar activities to great extent. The US forces managed to keep people at bay who were demanding to go to other places which were not affected by the earthquake. The American troops provided complete quantity of food and water to the Haiti nationals and were trying to establish peace over there.
