Escaped Inmates can create serious trouble in the country

Haiti has always suffered from ecological problems from the last several years but this time the earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 shook the minds of people all over the world. This disastrous earthquake took lives of around 250,000 people and still the chart of missing and departed people is going up. However, this is a natural disaster and no one can do anything in this matter but this natural disaster can lead to another disaster in the form of escaped inmates from the Prison Civile de port-Au-Prince. It was revealed that around 5000 prisoners escaped on the day of earthquake. It can be a serious security concern for the authorities in Haiti and also for the people in Haiti.

Out of 5000 escapees, 3000 were those who had pending cases of kidnapping, extortion and even murder. So, it is a serious security issue for the authorities of Haiti. However, the presence of US military really helps in establishing peace to a great extent. It is obvious that the prisoners will take advantage of this poor condition in the country and this is the reason why authorities are worried about the security of the country. It is also revealed that around five prisoners were killed due to sudden collapse of building and the rest of all inmates succeeded to escape from the jail.

It is the combined effort of police and military officials and they have succeeded in establishing peace in the country. There are around 9000 military personnel available there along with 2000 Police officials. Due to the presence of UN police and military personnel, the incidents of street fights and other crimes are really reduced to great extent. However, in spite of military and police officials, the Haitian government is doing its best to re arrest those inmates to make peace in the area. The Haiti Government and UN authorities have appointed some investigators to do this task and there is a hope to arrest those culprits very soon.

The Haitian Police is doing every possible effort in recapturing those inmates and the good news is that the Haitian police have already arrested 100 inmates. It is a great achievement of Haiti police as they succeed in recapturing 100 Haiti prisoners in spite of worst conditions in the country. Haitian police is making strategies to tap the rest of inmates to make the streets crime free. The disastrous earthquake killed more than 250,000 people along with thousands of injured people. The efforts to recapture the escaped inmates are going on and hope to see them behind the prison very soon.

The authorities in Haiti have announced that if they have doubt on any body, they can call the police. It is the prime responsibility of every citizen to inform Police about street fights or any type of crime in the country. They also told that Police will take immediate effect to eradicate all types of crimes from the country. The presence of UN police and military personnel is also a great relief to the population.
