Drug trafficking can be a serious concern for the security of the country

It is shocking news that Afghanistan contributes around 90 % of drugs to all the nations all over the world. Afghanistan is an opium hub and it is well known for the cultivation of maximum opium. The opium cultivation is much more in Afghan and interestingly, they are doing these types of activities effortlessly. Drug trafficking in Afghanistan has risen to new heights and the famous leaders are actually involved in drug trafficking to complete their desires. The area near the Taliban border is considered as the most fertile area and the cultivation of opium is high in that area.

The cultivation is mainly done by terrorists or other people who did this for them. The military and police officials are doing their best efforts to remove the opium cultivation land and they are planning different strategies to control the opium cultivation. Al – Qaeda is the only militant group that can be behind all these drug trafficking activities and it has to be removed to establish peace and security within the country. The main terror and opium come from Taliban and the meeting about the separation of Taliban is in the air which can be a good step from the Government in order to save the people of Afghanistan.

Above all, Afghanistan can be declared as Narco- State and UN officials have said that fighting with terrorist is easy but fighting with opium cultivation there is very difficult as the major area is affected by opium and the people there can do anything for opium. Some officials of Afghanistan also said that the most of the suicide bombers are drug addicts and they do not even know anything about the detonators. So, it can be a matter of serious concern for the Government of Afghanistan and they should act swiftly in order to save their own people from the darkness of addiction and loneliness.
