Four down by Israelites at Gaza coast

Israeli armed men fired four Palestinians dead. The victims were sailing away from the Gaza coast while they were shot.

On Monday morning, the vessel was attacked by Israeli air and naval force. At the time of attack, the ship had left the in diving costumes Nasserite coast.

Two hours after the attack, four bodies were retrieved which were then taken to the hospital. The bodies were thought to be of ‘commandos’ by the people who saw it, and those in the hospital.

Two persons are likely to be missing yet. They are being searched for.

According to the Israeli military, the boat was attacked by their navy as it was thought to be occupied by a terrorist squad who are in diving costumes and planning for a terror attack.

However, one of the survivors of the attack, Abu al-Walid on talking to AFP said that they were seven in number and none of them had any arm or ammunition. They belonged to the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades. This group is nevertheless an armed one and is distantly related to the Fatah society by Mahmud Abbas, the president of Palestine.

Abu al-Walid also said, that they were doing their as usual training, what they use to do everyday alongside the Gaza Coast. While doing so in the morning hours it was utterly surprising matter that suddenly quite a numbers of naval boats started firing on them. This attack caused four persons from their team died, two narrowly fled and one is missing till the date.

On basis of the account provided by Mr. Walid, there were no arms found in the boat the occupants were betrothed with ‘swimming training’ when the firing took place. The training was going on at a distance of around 100 metres from the coastline.
