Increasing crime and terror in the world

The rapid increase in the crime and terror statistics in the world is rather alarming and has taken most people by storm. The twenty first century brings with it a lot of complex problems and issues that need to be positively resolved for restoring peace. Some conflicts that were largely region specific have slowly spiraled out of control and are now demanding the world’s attention to the security threat posed to the other countries of the world. The Taliban rule has been a problem in Afghanistan since a few decades but has come under the lens of developed nations only recently when it was feared that there may begin a race for power that would ultimately threaten the safety of other nations.
The nuclear and arms race brings with it many threats that need to be acknowledged and rooted out. The interference of the US and Britain were largely met with hostility by the Taliban rulers as an effort to restored democracy was made. Other Middle Eastern countries with militants possessing strong ideological beliefs have also been amassing trained followers in a bid to overthrow the US army and prevent democratic rule. The 9/11 attacks on the world trade centre carried out by another Islamic stronghold, the AL Qaeda organization possibly changed the history of the world.
The number of terrorist attacks have increased and gained pace. Nowadays, no country and no place is deemed to be completely safe from terrorists. The attacks against the British by way of planting bombs in their trains shocked the world and showcased the agendas of the Islamic organizations that justify their actions as the will of God. The terror attacks in Mumbai in the upscale Taj hotel are also important in this context as they targeted the killing of foreigners while holding many hotel guests hostage.
Most Islamic militant groups are largely opposed to globalization and the western civilization. They oppose all progress and advancement as it threatens their own power. Even after the New York, London and Mumbai bombings, there have been great attempts made for other such attacks that have fortunately been foiled by intelligence agencies and the secret services. Round the clock efforts are made to prevent the lost of innocent lives by way of such mindless killings. The security procedures on major airports of the world have been significantly beefed up with a set of whole new rules. This has played a considerable role in thwarting hijack attempts.
Another case that comes to mind when one talks about terrorism is that of the Munich Olympic games that was a gruesome attack on the players belonging to the religion of Judaism. The attack against the local people in the case of Hotel Rwanda also comes to light and is a glaring example of exactly what can go wrong in a society. Radical elements are usually involved in such activities and can threaten the very fabric of justice by their unforgivable crimes. Exemplary punishments must be meted out to rid the society of this growing menace of crime and terror.
The normal legal system is not enough to tackle problems related to terrorism as terrorists are equipped with a completely different mindset that does not allow them to be remorseful or feel guilty in any way. They are not really scared of losing their lives as this is supposed to guarantee them a place in heaven and bring laurels and respect for their families. An in depth psychological study needs to be made to understand their mindset and zero in on a stronger course of action to root out this evil from the present day society.

These days it is so important for everyone to have good security. This is the only way to make sure that your family or office is as safe as possible when you are at home or work. One of the best things you can do is to get one of the many different security products. There are many different types available, so you will need to do your research before you choose what you want to get.
