One of the most horrifying and hard to control form of terror is Suicide Bombing. This is an attack with intention to kill others and make huge damages, while the attacker expects to kill himself in the process.

Present terrorism and Suicide Bombers

The number of suicide bombing attacks, have been increased in the past few years. Countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan had witnessed the most.  These attacks have been aimed at diverse military and civilian targets in countries like Sri Lanka, Israel since July 6, 1989, Iraq (since the US invasion in 2003), Pakistan and Afghanistan since 2005. In Pakistan more than 3,000 people have been killed in suicide bombing since 2007.

It is not true that suicide bombing is done by the Islamists, in Sri Lanka; Hindu Liberation Tigers of Eelam were also indulging in such activities. In Bagdad there had been many cases of suicide bombing in last few years and many of them were very shocking. In Bagdad a girl of 13 years was made suicide bomber in the month of November 2008.

Even after taking precautions of such situations very strictly in Pakistan, a recent suicide bombing took place in Peshawar on 5^th March 2010. In this bombing 12 people were killed and many were injured.

Suicide Bombing and Taliban

Taliban claimed the responsibility for bombing inside a United States Afghan Base. This was done by a suicide bomber recently. These kinds of activities were done by Taliban very frequently from many years. It is said by a recent report that Taliban is about to unleash 3000 suicide bombers in Pakistan. Taliban is still considered as the biggest and the greatest source of terrorism in whole world due to the production and supply of Heroin in the whole world as it helps them in procuring arms and ammunition from international arms smugglers.

Religious terrorism – an act of shame for the globe

Most of the people nowadays are well aware of the various religious acts and preaching of different religions. It is a well known fact that almost every religion will preach path that would lead to peace and harmony. With so many terrorist acts in many countries it is becoming a concern to be thought of seriously. Among the various reasons for the terrorism one of the biggest reasons that have been sorted out to the growing violence is religion. Nobody can ever imagine that any religion can be a source of violence among people and countries.

The peak terror attacks in various countries like the USA, India, Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan is a crucial factor that needs to sort out the basic reason to the growing violence. The various facts reveal that most of the times people involved in the terrorist activities are being provoked on the name of their God, religion or their community.

Grounds to the various religious terrorism acts begins within a nation and then spreads

It is not necessary that the terror activity needs to have a reason because of some indifference between various countries but there are so many other underlying reasons. Some of the grounds that encourage religious terror acts are political parties, poverty, need to be famous and so many.

The political parties of any country are the bridging gap between the people and various other nations. However it has been found that various political parties are responsible for promoting the violence acts in nations. They are found to take the advantage of the fact that provoking and igniting the people of their own religion against other religions would help them rule better. This will help them handle people and nation easy. People trust them and continuously elect and choose them as their leaders because they believe them to fight for their rights, safeguard their religion and promote them to other people.

The other dominating factor for religious terror acts is that people who are rich or are well established will always exploit the weaker sections of their society to their benefit would take an advantage by giving them what they need and asking them to fight the other weak sections and this will give them power to rule.

The religious terrorism is not only affecting the nations but it is also causing increased violence among people inside the country as well. The peace within the country is also getting disrupted and people are ready to even kill each other just for the sake to promote their religion.

The awareness towards religious terrorism is necessary as there are so many other factors that are leading to the increased violence and there is no religion that preaches terror acts and so let the people be aware of how their acts are hurting others.

According to the Associated Press, Malaysia and Indonesia have also stepped up maritime and air patrols in the Malacca Strait, where millions of barrels of oil pass daily.  Singapore’s navy is warning that a terrorist group (but they’re not saying which one) is or was planning attacks on oil tankers and other vessels.  This has all prompted increased security at border crossings, airports, sea ports, and at high-risk targets such as two new casino resorts.

John Harrison, terrorism expert and assistant professor at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, told the Associated Press that al-Qaida and the Southeast Asian militant group Jemaah Islamiyah (blamed for twin bombings last year on hotels in Jakarta) would be the most likely to carry out such an attack.
